Oval Rails vs Round Rails?Updated 5 months ago

BiSaddle has 3 rail options:

• Carbon Fiber Oval (7mm x 9mm)
• Titanium Round, Silver color (7mm x 7mm)
• Chromoly Round, Black color (7mm x 7mm)

Be sure to verify that your seat post can accommodate the rail that you choose before purchasing. 

If your seat post has a top style clamp (as shown below), then you can choose from any of the rail options we offer, as long as you are within the weight parameters.

• Carbon Fiber Oval - 210 lbs.
• Titanium Round - 240 lbs. 
• Chromoly Round - 280 lbs.

If you have a side clamp style seat post, you will need to use round rails or purchase 7mm x 9mm oval specific rail adapters to accommodate the carbon fiber oval rails.
